What we´ll enjoy: Nelahozeves is a picturesque village situated on the River Vltava, 35 km north of Prague. Built in the 16th century, the castle is owned by the Lobkowicz family and offers a glimpse into noble life with its beautifully preserved rooms, historic art collections and scenic views of the Vltava River. Right below the castle stands House No. 12, the birthplace of one of the most celebrated Czech composers of the Romantic era, Antonín Dvořák. This modest Baroque house is now a museum with a modern, interactive exhibition that uses multimedia technology to bring Dvořák’s life and music to life. You'll also find some great places to eat and drink at the Castle restaurant or in the Restaurant Marina right by the river.
Guided by: Natálii Gregor, the castle´s interpreter
The entrance fee: Admission will be free, (paid for by UCT Prague), so all you need to do is buy a round-trip train ticket from Nádraží Podbaba to Nelahozeves zámek (https://www.cd.cz/en/spojeni-a-jizdenka/ )
