Open events

A guided walk through the legendary Hanspaulka residential area, 
located on the hill above our school

Event for international staff and students of UCT Prague  and their friends or family members

  • When: Thursday 13/06/2024, from 4:00 PM  (meeting at 3:30 PM in front of A building)
  • Meeting place: in front of the UCT Prague A building at Technická 5 at 3:30 PM,
    or at 4:00 PM at the bus station “U Matěje”, bus No.131
  • The route of the walk: We will start at the bus No.131 U Matěje station and we'll pass the functionalist villas of famous people built in the 1930s. Our guide Martin will tell us interesting facts about the history of the First Republic of Czechoslovakia and the owners of these villas. The walk will take us to a beautiful lookout point at the ruins of Baba, where we can enjoy a beautiful view of Prague, the Vltava River, Císařský Island with the sewage treatment plant, Troja with the Prague ZOO and the housing estate on the other side of the river.
