As part of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union,
Alexis Dutertre, Ambassador of France to the Czech Republic, invites you to attend
the scientific and musical event "Sounds of Science"
that will be held on June 23rd, 2022, from 5 pm at the National House of Vinohrady (Náměstí Míru 820/9, 120 00 Praha 2-Vinohrady)
Two Nobel Prize and one Kavli Prize laureates - Jean-Marie Lehn (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1987), Jean Tirole (Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences 2014) and Thomas Ebbesen (Kavli Prize 2014) - will each in turn take the floor to present the great challenges of their respective disciplines.
The screening of René Clair's silent comedy "Paris qui dort/The Crazy Ray", with improvised piano accompaniment by the French composer and pianist Karol Beffa, will complete this scientific programme.
